Patient concern

The upper front teeth looked uneven in both length and width, and previous cosmetic work no longer matched the surrounding teeth.

Clinical assessment

Tooth position was the primary driver of the appearance rather than tooth colour. Gum levels were stable and the bite was assessed as safe to load once the teeth were aligned. Assessing position first established that only four teeth needed ceramic coverage.
